Songwriting is a natural medium for Chris Dorman to share the swirling emotions he feels. Living in an ever changing, and unpredictable age, his songs are both gentle and strong. He injects his thoughts and feelings into his music, and often writes about his own experiences.

Chris's live performance turns venues to living rooms and audiences to friends, and when the mood is just right he will improvise his lyrics to speak directly to his listeners.

Inspired by the birth of his son Henry, Chris released a full length album in March of this year. "To Begin Again" was recorded and released with the help of Earthwork Music. The album is diversely textured and reflects upon personal and global transitions. Over two dozen musicians took part in the project, all whole heartedly embracing the sounds, lyrics and spirit behind it. We invite you to do the same.
